Here are instructions on how to reset your password:


Be sure to first add noreply@notify.thinkific.com to your Contacts in order to avoid the password reset email being marked as Spam or blocked by your email service provider.

  1. Go to the website: EmpowerEd Program

  2. On the Homepage, click on the top right button that says Sign In

  3. Click Forgot Password and enter the email associated with your account

  4.  In a separate tab, open your Email and click on the Password Reset Link 

  5. Create a New Password at least 8 characters long, containing both uppercase and lowercase letters, and include at least one number and one special character.

  6. For security purposes, the password reset email expires after 1 hour. Should you need more time, simply request a password reset email again


Please note: The NASW California Chapter's EmpowerEd Program and NASW National's Online CE Institute are separate programs with different user databases.


If you are an existing user of our old continuing education website who has incomplete courses that you registered for within the past 2 years, you will need to reset your password the first time you log in.




If you are an existing user of our old continuing education website who doesn't have any incomplete courses that you registered for within the past 2 years, you will need to create a new account.


If you have never created an account on our website specifically, you will need to create one.
